Israel has submitted its objections to the US regarding the 15-point plan prepared for the settlement of the conflict in the Gaza Strip.
Modern.az reports that, according to the information released by the Office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the country conveyed its objections to US special envoy Tony Blair.
It was stated that Israel puts forward the complete disarmament of the Palestinian Hamas movement, the removal of weapons from the Gaza Strip and the complete demilitarization of the region as a main condition before starting any political process.
The statement noted that Israel submitted its objections to the US side because the discussed 15-point document did not adequately respond to these demands.
In addition, Israel announced that it will not withdraw its army from the positions called the "yellow line" in the Gaza Strip until Hamas is disarmed and Gaza is completely demilitarized.
It should be noted that on July 27, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the US demanded the withdrawal of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) from positions in the Gaza Strip, Lebanon and Syria. Before that, Netanyahu had warned Iran that a possible attack would have serious consequences.
