Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced the government's resignation in accordance with the country's Constitution.
Modern.az reports that Pashinyan stated that this stems from the requirement of Article 158 of the Armenian Constitution.
"The government resigns on the first day the newly elected National Assembly begins its work," the prime minister noted.
It should be noted that the 9th convocation of the Armenian National Assembly began its first session today. According to the Constitution, even if the government resigns, ministers will continue to exercise their powers until a new cabinet is formed.
