The number of people injured as a result of the strong earthquake near Naples, Italy, has reached 26.
Modern.az reports, citing the country's media, that as a result of the 4.7 magnitude tremors, eight residential buildings and five administrative buildings were completely destroyed, leaving hundreds of families homeless.
Part of the population has started to temporarily leave the city. The tremors caused power outages and disruptions in the operation of trains and the subway.
It should be noted that the incident is considered the strongest earthquake in the last 40 years.
