Jared Kushner, one of the key figures of the US President for the Middle East, called for the "Abraham Accords" to move to a new stage on the occasion of their sixth anniversary.
According to Modern.az, Kushner stated that the Middle East is again at a turning point and a broader system based on economic cooperation, security and normalization of relations with Israel should be created in the region.
According to him, if previous approaches to regional conflicts are abandoned and the model established by the "Abraham Accords" is expanded, new diplomatic breakthroughs previously considered impossible can be achieved.
It should be noted that the "Abraham Accords", which started in 2020 with the mediation of the USA, paved the way for the normalization of Israel's relations with a number of Arab countries. The agreements' bringing regional security and economic integration into a broader framework is currently being re-discussed in Washington.
