At least 5 people died and 40 people went missing as a result of a fire on a ferry in Indonesia.

Modern.az reports that "Reuters" spread information about this, citing local authorities.

The tragedy happened near Madura island in Indonesia. There were approximately 250 people on board the ferry.

According to the information, the ferry was moving from Surabaya to Makassar.
