A sharp increase in the price of gasoline and diesel fuel has been recorded in Germany.

According to the publication, the main reason for the price increase is the growing military tension around Iran and the impact of the war in the Middle East on energy markets.
According to the information, diesel fuel, in particular, has become more expensive more quickly. According to data as of Sunday evening, the price of one liter of diesel reached 2.30 euros. This is 6.7 euro cents more than the previous day.
As a result, drivers have to pay 3.35 euros more than before to fill a 50-liter diesel tank. Currently, filling such a tank costs 115 euros. Gasoline, on the other hand, is sold at a higher price. At current prices, filling a 50-liter gasoline tank costs drivers 116 euros.
"Bild" writes that against the background of the tense situation in the Middle East, a continued increase in the prices of energy carriers is not excluded. Experts believe that the prolongation of the conflict could lead to a new wave of price increases in the oil market.
