In 2025, the total number of births in Azerbaijan was 95,875. The birth rate per 1000 people was 9.4.

It was reported that 18,618 (7.9) births were registered in Baku city. Among the districts of the capital, the highest indicators were recorded in Garadagh with 11.9, Yasamal with 10.3, and Surakhani with 9.3, while the lowest indicator was in Nasimi district with 5.5.
By districts of the capital, 2,085 (6.7) births were registered in Binagadi district, 2,366 (8.5) in Khatai district, 1,542 (7.5) in Khazar district, 1,404 (11.9) in Garadagh district, 1,345 (7.4) in Narimanov district, 1,212 (5.5) in Nasimi district, 1,359 (7.3) in Nizami district, 152 (8.1) in Pirallahi district, 2,499 (7.5) in Sabunchu district, 702 (6.9) in Sabail district, 1,951 (9.3) in Surakhani district, and 2,001 (10.3) in Yasamal district.
A total of 3,437 births (7.3) were registered in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. 624 (6.4) births were registered in Nakhchivan city, 667 (8.5) in Babek district, 333 (6.9) in Julfa district, 292 (8.6) in Kangarli district, 290 (5.7) in Ordubad district, 173 (7.4) in Sadarak district, 175 (6.9) in Shahbuz district, and 883 (7.8) in Sharur district.
A total of 4,998 births (5.7) were registered in the Absheron-Khizi economic region. 2,529 (5.9) births were registered in Sumgayit city, 2,328 (5.4) in Absheron district, and 141 (8.4) in Khizi district.
A total of 3,805 births (11.8) were registered in the Mountainous Shirvan economic region. 940 (11.6) births were formalized in Agsu district, 914 (10.4) in Ismayilli district, 668 (14.0) in Gobustan district, and 1,283 (12.0) in Shamakhi district.
A total of 5,104 births (8.5) were registered in the Ganja-Dashkasan economic region. 2,164 (6.5) births were registered in Ganja city, 71 (8.2) in Naftalan city, 371 (11.1) in Dashkasan district, 1,133 (11.0) in Goranboy district, 738 (11.3) in Goygol district, and 627 (10.6) in Samukh district.
A total of 8,469 births (11.3) were registered in the Karabakh economic region. 31 (7.1) births were registered in Khankendi city, 1,601 (11.7) in Agjabadi district, 2,059 (11.7) in Aghdam district, 97 (8.0) in Agdara district, 1,830 (11.6) in Barda district, 1,476 (11.2) in Fuzuli district, 199 (12.8) in Khojaly district, 146 (11.7) in Khojavand district, 243 (9.6) in Shusha city, and 787 (10.3) in Tartar district.
A total of 7,211 births (10.6) were registered in the Gazakh-Tovuz economic region. 955 (11.0) births were registered in Agstafa district, 990 (9.8) in Gadabay district, 959 (9.9) in Gazakh district, 2,261 (10.3) in Shamkir district, and 2,046 (11.5) in Tovuz district.
A total of 5,769 births (10.5) were registered in the Guba-Khachmaz economic region. 1,813 (10.3) births were registered in Khachmaz district, 1,922 (11.2) in Guba district, 979 (9.5) in Gusar district, 438 (10.4) in Siyazan district, and 617 (10.5) in Shabran district.
A total of 10,640 births (11.2) were registered in the Lankaran-Astara economic region. 1,424 (12.6) births were registered in Astara district, 3,061 (13.9) in Jalilabad district, 1,022 (11.7) in Lerik district, 1,959 (8.6) in Lankaran district, 2,186 (9.6) in Masally district, and 988 (14.2) in Yardimli district.
A total of 7,700 births (10.6) were registered in the Central Aran economic region. 867 (8.4) births were registered in Mingachevir city, 1,140 (10.6) in Agdash district, 1,245 (10.4) in Goychay district, 1,327 (11.1) in Kurdamir district, 971 (11.3) in Ujar district, 1,479 (11.3) in Yevlakh district, and 671 (11.2) in Zardab district.
A total of 5,687 births (10.8) were registered in the Mil-Mughan economic region. 1,059 (10.3) births were registered in Beylagan district, 1,346 (10.1) in Imishli district, 1,175 (10.5) in Saatli district, and 2,107 (11.5) in Sabirabad district.
A total of 5,728 births (9.1) were registered in the Shaki-Zagatala economic region. 833 (8.2) births were registered in Balakan district, 566 (9.7) in Gakh district, 1,164 (10.6) in Gabala district, 440 (9.8) in Oghuz district, 1,599 (8.6) in Shaki district, and 1,126 (8.6) in Zagatala district.
A total of 3,378 births (11.1) were registered in the Eastern Zangezur economic region. 733 (10.0) births were registered in Jabrayil district, 936 (12.9) in Kalbajar district, 379 (10.1) in Gubadli district, 937 (12.3) in Lachin district, and 393 (9.1) in Zangilan district.
A total of 5,331 births (10.7) were registered in the Shirvan-Salyan economic region. 802 (9.3) births were registered in Shirvan city, 1,321 (12.3) in Bilasuvar district, 792 (10.3) in Hajigabul district, 795 (9.1) in Neftchala district, and 1,621 (11.5) in Salyan district.
