The Zangezur corridor is important both from the perspective of the Middle Corridor and for establishing a connection between the main part of Azerbaijan and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
Modern.az reports that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated this at a press conference.
He stated that Turkey wants the signing of a final peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
The Foreign Minister emphasized that Turkey intends to normalize relations with Armenia:
"Both Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Armenia possess the necessary will for this."
Hakan Fidan noted that he and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov discussed the framework document for the implementation of Trump's Roadmap for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP).
The Minister added that the Turkish President was also informed about the framework document:
"During the visit of the Armenian Foreign Minister to Washington, the TRIPP framework document was published. We held a two-hour discussion on this matter with my esteemed colleague Jeyhun Bayramov. The perspectives of the Azerbaijani side are important to us. President Erdoğan was also informed about this."
