On January 15, a joint inspection of the current condition of the Sadarak-Yeraskh railway section was conducted by representatives of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Modern.az reports that, according to information from the Cabinet of Ministers, the purpose of this inspection was to assess the technical suitability of that railway section for the movement of special railway construction equipment, for the purpose of implementing measures for the restoration of the relevant infrastructure.
The parties exchanged views on issues related to the assessment of the technical condition of the railway infrastructure in that section within the framework of the conducted inspection.
