Famous Armenian blogger and journalist Natali Aleksanyan congratulated the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
According to Modern.az, Natali Aleksanyan wished peace to Armenians, Turks and Azerbaijanis on her social media account:
“These days, the Muslim world celebrates the holy Eid al-Adha, which is a symbol of faith, mercy, kindness and humanism.
As a person who always advocates for peace, dialogue and mutual respect among peoples, I want to sincerely congratulate all Turks and Azerbaijanis on this holy holiday.
We live in a region with a complex and painful history, and each nation has its own pain, its own memories. But I believe that even in the most difficult circumstances, people can maintain human relations with each other and talk about a peaceful future.
On this day, I wish peace to all peoples — Armenians, Turks and Azerbaijanis.
May future generations live in a safer, more humane and more peaceful world; and may human dignity and mutual respect prevail over hatred.
I sincerely congratulate everyone celebrating this holy holiday.
I wish peace to all peoples and all families.
Happy Eid al-Adha!”
