Turkey and Azerbaijan are determined to expand cooperation in the field of defense and security.
Modern.az reports that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said this at a joint press conference with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov.
The minister stated that the elevation of relations to the level of alliance with the Shusha Declaration created a strong basis for defense and security cooperation.
“Joint exercises held between our armed forces, education and experience exchange, as well as increasingly deepening cooperation between our defense industry enterprises are concrete results of this partnership,” Hakan Fidan emphasized.
According to him, in the coming period, cooperation in this area will continue in accordance with the needs and capabilities of the parties.
