The coordination of the positions of the Azerbaijani and Turkish leaders on regional and strategic issues is of particular importance for both countries.
Modern.az reports that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated this at a joint press conference with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov.
Hakan Fidan recalled that he was received by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during his visit to Baku.
“I conveyed the sincere greetings and love of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. We had the opportunity to listen to President Ilham Aliyev's extensive experience and views on bilateral relations and regional issues. I also conveyed our President's position on important issues,” the minister said.
Hakan Fidan emphasized the importance of coordinating the approaches of the leaders of the two countries on strategic issues.
