Azerbaijan and Turkey are considering opportunities to implement trilateral projects in African countries.

Modern.az reports that this was stated by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at a joint press conference with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan.

The minister noted that Azerbaijan has identified relations with African countries as one of its priority directions in recent years.

“The number of Azerbaijan's trade and economic missions to African countries and the projects it implements on the continent is increasing. There is great potential in this direction,” said Jeyhun Bayramov.

The Foreign Minister emphasized that Turkey is one of the countries with the widest diplomatic and economic representation in Africa.

According to him, Azerbaijan and Turkey can implement trilateral projects with the participation of individual African countries.

Jeyhun Bayramov stated that diplomatic and political cooperation between Baku and Ankara is not limited to bilateral relations and also includes trilateral and quadrilateral formats with the participation of regional countries.
