The "Russian House" located in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova, officially ceased its activities as of July 4.

Modern.az reports that Igor Chayka, the head of Russia's "Rossotrudnichestvo" agency, announced this information.

The decision to suspend the agency's activities was made by the Moldovan government back in December 2025. Official Chisinau justified this step by the necessity to limit Russia's influence in the country.

It should be recalled that the activities of the "Russian House" (Russian Information and Cultural Center) in Baku were officially terminated in February 2025.
