Azerbaijan and Jordan are preparing to abolish the mutual visa requirement for holders of ordinary passports. The issue will be discussed in the Milli Majlis.

Modern.az reports that a draft law on the approval of the "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on the mutual exemption of holders of ordinary passports from visa requirements" has been prepared.

The project has been included in the agenda of the meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on International Relations and Interparliamentary Relations, which will be held on September 14.

The document envisages simplifying mutual visits of citizens of the two countries holding ordinary passports.

After discussion in the committee, the draft law may be recommended to the plenary session of the Milli Majlis.
