President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Hakan Fidan on September 15.
Modern.az reports that Hakan Fidan conveyed the greetings of the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to the head of our state.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed his gratitude for the greetings and asked him to convey his greetings to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
During the conversation, it was emphasized that Azerbaijan-Turkey brotherhood and strategic alliance relations are successfully developing in all directions, and it was noted with satisfaction that our cooperation is further strengthened on the principle of “one nation, two states”.
Touching upon the importance of cooperation in the energy sector, views were exchanged on new ways to access international markets in the direction of alternative energy.
The importance of our countries in terms of logistics, including their role as an important bridge between Europe and Asia, was emphasized, and the importance of coordinating our activities within the framework of international organizations was noted.
During the meeting, views were exchanged on the prospects of our bilateral relations, regional issues and other topics of mutual interest.
