Ukraine's Ambassador to Ankara, Neriman Calal, has been summoned to the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Modern.az reports that TRT Haber disseminated this information.
The reason for this was the Ukrainian Armed Forces firing at a Turkish ship in the Black Sea. The ambassador was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the firing at the Turkish dry cargo ship "Lider Bordo Mavi" near Tuapse on the night of August 26.
During the meeting, Turkey's protest regarding the aforementioned attacks was conveyed to the Ukrainian side. Necessary warnings were made regarding the necessity of ensuring the safety of life and property, shipping, and the environment in the Black Sea.
It was noted that a fire broke out on the ship as a result of the attack, and five members of the crew were injured.
According to Turkish authorities, the ship "Lider Kocatepe," which went to its aid, was also subjected to a drone attack.
