The trial of Turkish well-known businessman and television executive Acun Ilıcalı, who was prosecuted on charges of broadcasting advertisements for illegal betting games, has concluded.
Modern.az reports, citing Turkish media, that in the case filed with the claim of displaying illegal betting advertisements during some football matches broadcast on "TV8" television channel and "Exxen" digital platform,
an acquittal decision was given for 7 accused persons, including Acun Ilıcalı, who are from the management of the channel and platform.
Due to the absence of criminal intent in the actions of the accused, an acquittal verdict was issued for each defendant individually.
