Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that relations with Russia are currently at the highest level.
Modern.az reports that he voiced these thoughts during his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Bishkek.
"Turkish-Russian relations are currently at a higher level compared to any period in history. The importance of Russian tourists for Turkey is great and multifaceted. Today, guests from Russia constitute one of the most important components of the tourist flow directed to Antalya," Erdoğan noted.
He added that, in addition, the two countries continue strong partnership relations in agriculture, energy, and other fields.
