US President Donald Trump said that negotiations between Washington and Tehran are continuing in a positive direction.
Modern.az reports that Trump said this in a statement to journalists.
According to Trump, a possible agreement between the US and Iran is not ruled out to be reached this weekend.
"Negotiations are going very well. An agreement could be signed this weekend, but the possibility of failure cannot be ruled out either," the US president said.
It should be noted that the negotiations between Washington and Tehran are aimed at overcoming disagreements regarding Iran's nuclear program and regional security issues.
