Armenia and the USA have signed a framework agreement on TRIPP.
Modern.az reports that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia has released information about this.
The document was initialed on May 26 during US Secretary of State Marco Rubio's visit to Armenia.
The Armenian Foreign Ministry also released a video of Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan speaking during the signing of the document.
He stated:
"Dear citizens, a few seconds ago, in front of your eyes, I signed the framework agreement on TRIPP between the USA and Armenia. You remember, a few days ago this document was initialed by me and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio during his visit to Armenia. Later, Mr. Rubio signed the document, the document was sent to Armenia, and now I, as the Armenian side, have also affixed my signature. With this, the remote signing process has been completed and the agreement is ready for ratification."
