The US and Israel suffered military defeat in the confrontation with Iran and have now switched to a campaign to sow internal discord in our country.
Modern.az reports, citing Iranian media, that this was stated by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mojtaba Khamenei, in his address to the people.
In his written statement, Khamenei noted that the US-led "system of pressure" cannot tolerate the existence of a strong and independent Iran. He called Israel the "fake outpost" of this system.
"Having suffered military failure and deep disgrace, the enemy is now waging a hybrid war, focusing on two fronts: the resilience of the people and the miscalculations of officials. Their main tool is to create doubt, despair, fear, and division. Any action that causes distrust, pessimism, or despair among the people is a kind of help to the enemies of this country and its people," Khamenei said.
He called on Iranian citizens to respond to such actions with restraint, vigilance, and national unity.
