French President Emmanuel Macron congratulated Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on his victory in the parliamentary elections.
Modern.az reports that Macron emphasized Pashinyan's confident victory in the elections and expressed their interest in continuing cooperation with him.
"I am pleased to continue working with you to support Armenia's sovereignty and peace, as well as to advance the process of rapprochement with Europe," the French president noted.
Macron's statement is seen as a message of support for the development of French-Armenian relations and Yerevan's integration course towards Europe.
