US President Donald Trump claimed that they prevented a possible war between India and Pakistan with tariff threats.
Modern.az reports that Trump spoke about this in a statement to journalists.
According to the US leader, he warned both countries that if they started a war, 250 percent customs duties would be imposed on them.
"I said that if you start a war, we will impose 250 percent tariffs on each of you. They were screaming, protesting and very angry. Then they called and said they would not start a war," Trump said.
