According to the Russian Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat), from August 4 to 10, 2026, the average price of gasoline in the country decreased by 53 kopecks to 76.04 rubles per liter. The price of diesel, on the other hand, decreased by 2 rubles 32 kopecks to 88.97 rubles per liter.

During the market analysis, changes in prices for the main brands of gasoline were also recorded. Thus, the price of AI-92 gasoline decreased by 60 kopecks to 72.17 rubles per liter, and the price of AI-95 gasoline decreased by 51 kopecks to 78.21 rubles. The price of AI-98 gasoline, on the contrary, increased by 47 kopecks to 101.78 rubles per liter.
Gasoline prices increased in 28 regions. The largest increase was recorded in Tver region – 6.8 percent.
In 44 regions, gasoline prices decreased. The most significant price drop was observed in the Republic of Dagestan – 9.1 percent.
Price changes in large cities were more modest. While gasoline prices decreased by 0.2 percent in Moscow, prices remained unchanged in St. Petersburg.
