Former Armenian MP, representative of the "Prosperous Armenia" Party Martun Grigoryan has been arrested.
Modern.az reports that Grigoryan was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Committee of Armenia on the morning of August 13.
The Committee stated that Grigoryan was arrested within the framework of a criminal case initiated against him. A motion has been sent to the court to choose a pre-trial detention measure for him.
According to the Anti-Corruption Committee, Grigoryan is a suspect in that criminal case.
It should be noted that Martun Grigoryan was previously a member of the Armenian Parliament and was on the list of the "Prosperous Armenia" Party in the 2026 parliamentary elections.
