Closed-format talks are being held between Iran and the US, and some progress has been made in the process.
Modern.az reports that Pakistan's Ambassador to Moscow, Faisal Niyaz Tirmizi, stated this.
The diplomat answered positively to the question of whether there was progress in contacts between Tehran and Washington. He noted that consultations are still ongoing.
The ambassador refused to answer whether the talks were held in Islamabad.
"This is not information intended for the public, but we are working on it," said Faisal Niyaz Tirmizi.
