Ukraine has sent Russia a ceasefire proposal that includes a halt to both strikes on cities and fighting on the front line.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Kirill Budanov, head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
According to him, the proposal was personally delivered to Russian President Vladimir Putin, but Moscow did not respond.
Budanov noted that it was not only about Russia stopping missile and drone attacks on Ukrainian territory. The proposal also included a ceasefire on the front.
"But drones are flying, you all saw that," Budanov commented on the situation after the proposal was delivered to Russia.
The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine also stated that US President Donald Trump's special representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner will visit Ukraine on Sunday.
Budanov also suggested that Russia might refrain from striking Kyiv during their visit:
"I think there will be no strikes on Kyiv tomorrow."
