Fines will be imposed on foreign workers in Georgia.
Modern.az reports with reference to local media that a fine of 2000 lari (740 dollars) will be applied for those who do not have a work permit to work as a guide, taxi driver or courier.
A similar fine applies to companies that obstruct inspections or refuse to provide employee information.
Permits for foreigners and individual entrepreneurs are available from March 1, 2026.
