In January-March of this year, 65 new companies with Azerbaijani capital were established in Turkey, which is 91.2% more than in the same period of 2025.
Modern.az reports that this was stated in the information of the "Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey" (TOBB).
According to the information, 7 of the companies established in the first quarter (75% more compared to the annual period) were joint-stock companies, and 58 (+93.3%) were limited liability companies (LLC).
The total capital of the companies established during the reporting period was 181.587 million Turkish liras (4.051 million US dollars), which is 5.2 times more than a year ago. 91.4% of this, or 165 million 964 thousand Turkish liras (3.702 million US dollars), was provided by Azerbaijani citizens. This is 5.3 times more than in 3 months of 2025.
In March alone, Azerbaijani citizens established 17 companies (+54.5%) in Turkey. 3 of the new companies were joint-stock companies (+3 times), and 14 were LLCs (+40%).
87% of the capital of joint companies with a total capital of 16.775 million Turkish liras (374 thousand US dollars; 62.9% more), or 14.6 million Turkish liras (326 thousand US dollars; 42.4% more), belonged to Azerbaijanis.
