The contract signed by “Alov" security service with the Ministry of Science and Education expired on December 30 last year. The company management informed the employees that a new tender would be announced. However, it was later revealed that the schools and lyceums they served were already being protected by the “Vətən" security service without a tender being announced. As a result, approximately 150 employees became unemployed and learned about this situation by chance.

Modern.az reports that Elshan Abiyev, head of "Alov"'s service, claims that the other company is operating without an official contract with the Ministry of Science and Education.

Etibar Gasimov, head of the main department of “Vətən", denied the claims. He stated that currently no employee from their company provides security services in any school.

According to Gasimov, only the winning company will organize security in educational institutions after the tender is completed.

The inquiry addressed to the Ministry of Science and Education received a response not directly related to the essence of the matter.(ARB TV)
