The Baku City State Traffic Police Department has appealed to traffic participants regarding the restriction to be applied on the Airport road.
Information provided by the Department to Modern.az states that, on February 14-15, due to works to be carried out for the purpose of replacing electronic information-speed boards with new ones on the Airport highway in the Surakhani district of the capital (near “Buta Palace”), traffic restrictions will be applied and directions will be changed on the aforementioned road.
The restriction will be applied on February 14 from 00:00 to 07:00 from the Airport road (from the Airport bridge) towards “Koroglu” metro station, and on February 15 at the specified hours from “Koroglu” metro station (from the overpass on the Surakhani roundabout) towards the Airport.
By the State Traffic Police employees serving in the area, drivers coming from Mardakan highway will be directed to Zig highway, and drivers coming from the city direction will be directed to Khanlar Alakbarov and 14 July streets in Surakhani district.
In addition, drivers will also be able to travel from the city to the Airport direction as an alternative by passing from 8 November Avenue to Zig road.
