Main State Traffic Police Department (BDYPİ) has appealed to pedestrians.
Modern.az reports that the appeal states:
"Dear pedestrians!
Addressing you as the most vulnerable participants in road traffic, we inform you that you should wait for public transport at boarding areas, bus stops, and if these are not available, on the sidewalk or road shoulders.
Stepping onto the roadway and standing in lanes where vehicles are moving poses a serious danger to your life and health, and represents an unexpected obstacle for drivers.
Remember that a moment of inattention can lead to severe and undesirable consequences. Every pedestrian's adherence to the rules is an important condition for overall road traffic safety.

The Main State Traffic Police Department once again calls upon you to protect your personal safety and to strictly adhere to road traffic rules."
