Personnel changes have been made in the Georgian government.
Modern.az reports with reference to Georgian media that Geka Geladze has resigned from the post of Minister of Internal Affairs and will be appointed head of the State Security Service.
Sulxan Tamazaşvili, head of the Adjara government, will be appointed the new head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The current head of the State Security Service, Mamuka Mdinaradze, will become Deputy Prime Minister and will lead a new agency for the coordination of law enforcement agencies.
