Kalbajar region is known for its rare flora and fauna species. Mountain goat, brown bear, wild boar, stone marten, roe deer, and eagle are among the main animal and bird species here.
Modern.az reports that a brown bear was seen last night in the area of Zulfugarli village of the region. Brown bears are found in dense forests and high mountainous areas, as well as in the Tutqunchay and Tartarchay basins.
