How many countries are expected to participate in WUF13? - OFFICIAL

Participants from 176 countries have registered for the thirteenth session of the United Nations World Urban Forum (WUF13) to be held in Baku.

Eldar Rasulov, Chief Manager for Content and Media Relations at WUF13 Azerbaijan Operating Company, informed Modern.az in response to its inquiry.

According to him, more than 26,000 people have currently registered to participate in the forum.

It should be noted that the thirteenth session of the World Urban Forum, considered one of the most influential platforms of the UN, will be held in Baku on May 17-22. Within the framework of the forum, issues such as sustainable urban development, creation of a safe and inclusive living environment, and management of urbanization processes are planned to be discussed.
