The new, 21st package of sanctions prepared by the European Union (EU) against Russia will include a clause prohibiting Russian servicemen who participated in the war in Ukraine from entering EU countries.
Modern.az reports that the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, made a statement about this.
According to the information, the 21st package of restrictions directed against Russia also aims to increase pressure on the banking sector and the Russian economy. Thus, the EU plans to include 170 individuals and organizations, including 90 Russian banks, in the new sanctions list.
