US President Donald Trump said that his country allocates more funds to NATO's financing than other member states.
Modern.az reports that in his post on the matter, Trump claimed that the US made the largest financial contribution to the alliance's security, but received no benefit in return.
According to him, between 2014 and 2025, the US spent 999 billion dollars on NATO. This figure was 90.5 billion dollars in Great Britain, 66.5 billion dollars in France, 48.8 billion dollars in Italy, and 44.3 billion dollars in Poland.
Trump stated that other countries, including Germany, allocate much less funds to NATO.
"This is simply ridiculous," the US President emphasized.
