It was noticed that in the photos of the last official meeting held at the residence of the President of Armenia, the depiction of Mount Ararat, which was previously hanging on the wall, is no longer visible.
Modern.az reports that in comparative photos circulated on social networks, it is claimed that during President Vahagn Khachatryan's meeting with a foreign guest in 2025, there was a painting depicting Mount Ararat on the wall, while in a photo taken in 2026, the painting is not visible in the same place.
This change has led to widespread discussions on social media. However, the Administration of the President of Armenia has not made any official statement on the matter.
It should be noted that before this, Armenia had also removed the depiction of Mount Ararat from the design of its new generation passports. This step had also caused widespread discussions in the country and the region.
