Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan met with President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian in Tehran.
Modern.az reports that, according to the press service of the Armenian Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan once again offered condolences on the passing of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Khamenei, emphasizing that Armenia shares the grief of the Iranian people.
President Masoud Pezeshkian thanked Nikol Pashinyan for coming to Tehran to attend Khamenei's farewell ceremony. He stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran highly appreciates the position demonstrated by the Armenian government towards Iran and the humanitarian aid provided during this difficult period.
Masoud Pezeshkian congratulated Nikol Pashinyan on his victory in the parliamentary elections and expressed confidence that Iran-Armenia relations will continue to develop and strengthen consistently.
The parties also exchanged views on issues of regional importance, emphasizing the importance of consistent steps aimed at strengthening peace, stability, and regional cooperation.
