US President Donald Trump announced that investments in microchip production in the country have reached a record high.
Modern.az reports that Trump shared this on the social network "Truth Social".
According to him, "Micron" company will increase its investments for the production of memory chips in the US to 250 billion dollars.
"Investments continue to grow. Trump's impact is real. Micron is increasing its investments to a massive $250 billion to produce memory chips in the US," Trump wrote.
The US President sharply criticized the previous administration, stating that Democrats have hindered the development of American industry for many years.
Trump noted that the current administration is taking steps to bring manufacturing back to the US, strengthen supply chains, and create new jobs.
"We are eliminating job-destroying regulations, paving the way for new projects. This means thousands of new jobs across the country. True economic security begins with products made in America," he emphasized.
