A poll conducted in the US showed that half of Americans believe that the US-Iran confrontation will lead to serious instability in the Middle East.
Modern.az reports that, according to a survey conducted by "Reuters/Ipsos", 50 percent of respondents believe that the conflict will further escalate the situation in the region.
Only 17 percent of the survey participants believe that military operations will create more stability in the Middle East. 16 percent of respondents said that the conflict will not cause significant changes in the region.
The study also showed that the US conflict with Iran does not have widespread support among Americans. Thus, only 35 percent of the survey participants expressed their support for this confrontation.
