The political parties with the most members in Turkey have been announced.
According to information from Modern.az, the largest increase in membership was recorded in the ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) from July 2025 to January 2026.
The number of members of the ruling party increased by 664,568 people in six months, reaching 11,543,301.
Among the parties showing positive dynamics are the Felicity Party and the Key Party. The number of members of the Felicity Party increased by 67,244 people, reaching 314,086, while the number of members of the Key Party increased by 62,491 people, reaching 105,342.
The Republican People's Party is also among the parties that recorded an increase in membership during the reporting period; the number of CHP members increased by 19,325 people, reaching 1,922,757. The increase in the Re-Welfare Party and the Nationalist Movement Party remained at a more limited level.
At the same time, a decrease in the number of members was observed in several parties. The Workers' Party of Turkey, İYİ Party, Victory Party, Future Party, Democracy and Progress Party, and Democratic Party are among the political entities that lost members during this period. The largest decrease was recorded in the Democratic Party – 6,759 people.
