During the natural disaster, water pipes burst in one of Tokyo's districts, flooding the streets. Elevators in some buildings stopped automatically, and there were temporary interruptions in train services.
It should be noted that the underground tremors were recorded on August 23 at 02:00 local time in Ibaraki prefecture. The earthquake's epicenter was located at a depth of approximately 70 kilometers.
