Turkish intelligence has exposed an Iranian spy ring.
Modern.az reports that as a result of a joint operation by the Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MİT) and the police, a spy group serving Iranian intelligence has been neutralized.
Six suspects have been arrested.
The group was led by Iranian intelligence officers Najaf Rostami (code name "Haj") and Mehdi Yekeh Dehqan (code name "Doctor"). They were responsible for planning operations ranging from intelligence gathering at Incirlik Air Base to the creation of assassination groups.
