Modern.az reports that, Səyyad Əliyev, Deputy Chairman and Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Leningrad Oblast, has been awarded the 2nd degree medal of the "For Services to the Fatherland" order by decree of the President of Russia.
It should be noted that, Səyyad Əliyev was born in 1967 in the village of Zopun, Cəlilabad district. He received his higher education in Leningrad (later Saint Petersburg). S.Əliyev, who began his professional career in the 80s, worked in many enterprises and factories. He rose from an assembler of wooden products to leadership positions.
At the same time, S.Əliyev has been engaged in active public activities. In 2005, S.Əliyev was elected Chairman of the Council of Deputies and head of the municipal entity of the "Dubrovskoe urban settlement" in the Vsevolozhsky district of the Leningrad Oblast. In 2009, he was elected head of the "Dubrovskoe urban settlement" for the first and second convocations. Possessing extensive experience and professionalism, S.Əliyev was elected a deputy of the V convocation of the Legislative Assembly of the Leningrad Oblast in 2011, a deputy of the VI convocation in 2016, and a deputy of the VII convocation in 2021. As an active member of many committees of the Legislative Assembly of the Leningrad Oblast, S.Əliyev is involved in active legislative work.
