US Vice President JD Vance said that the United States has achieved all its goals in Iran and can move to the stage of ending the conflict.
According to Modern.az, Vance told Fox News in an interview: “I think we are now in a situation where we have achieved our goals. We can gradually start to stop this process.”
He added that he would prefer to end the conflict with successful negotiations.
The US and Iran held talks on April 11. The parties could not reach an agreement. As for the timing of the second round of talks, according to JD Vance, it would be more appropriate to address this question to the Iranian side, because “the ball is in their court.”
