Anita Orban will be Hungary's new foreign minister.
Modern.az reports that Peter Magyar, leader of the Tisza party, which won the parliamentary elections, announced this at a press conference.
He added that Orban has already accepted the offer.
Anita Orban was born in 1974 and was elected to the Hungarian National Assembly in 2026. From 2021 to 2023, she served as Deputy CEO of the "One Hungary" organization, and from 2010 to 2015, she was Ambassador-at-Large for Energy Security at the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Anita Orban shares the same surname as the resigning Prime Minister Viktor Orban. According to media reports, there is no family relationship between the two.
