US President Donald Trump said that after attending the NATO summit last month, he secretly changed his plane before flying from Turkey, following the instructions of the Secret Service.
Modern.az reports that Trump said this in response to a question from a CBS News reporter: "It's up to the Secret Service."
"I just follow the instructions of the Secret Service and the military. They wanted me to fly on another flight, on another plane, to ensure the same security, so I did it. I do what they say," he emphasized.
On July 8, at Ankara airport, the US president was secretly transferred from "Air Force One" to another plane. This was because US intelligence had received reliable information about a plan by Iran and its proxies to launch a missile attack on the plane Trump was flying from Turkey.
When asked about the nature of the threat, Trump replied: "I think there was a real threat. I didn't ask much about it. I am often threatened."
