Ukraine's military intelligence has submitted a report on Russia's preparations for a new mobilization. It is reported that the information is confirmed by documents obtained from within Russia, and the mobilization is planned to be held in the autumn.
Modern.az reports that this was announced by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.
"Putin wants to create the impression that Russians supposedly support the war. After the so-called elections, he plans to rapidly mobilize an additional few hundred thousand Russians by the end of the year, and another few hundred thousand next year. This will be in addition to those they are trying to recruit for military service on a contract basis," Zelensky said.
The Ukrainian President noted that Kyiv is preparing its active operations to make it as difficult as possible for Russia to implement these plans.
"I have set relevant tasks for our special services," Zelensky emphasized.
